Active Learning Modules

Register your place on an Active Learning Module at GPCE Melbourne, each spanning across six high impact hours and focused on key clinical areas relevant to general practice.

Delegates will receive 40 RACGP Category 1 points / 30 ACRRM PRPD points per ALM completed and can complement this with additional 1 hour sessions for Category 2 points.

ALMs in 2019 include:

Convert your ALM to a Quality Improvement (QI) Activity

General practitioners currently have a mandatory requirement to complete a Quality Improvement (QI) activity as part of the current 2017–2019 triennium. The RACGP has introduced an option for GPs to convert any Category 1 activity (such as an ALM) into a QI activity by completing a Quality Improvement reflection form.

Quality Improvement reflection forms are only applicable to GPs who have:

  • Completed a Category 1 activity and points have been allocated
    - Made changes to their knowledge, attitude, behaviours, skills and/or practice systems as an outcome of completing a Category 1 activity.
  • Following completion of an Active Learning Module at GPCE, you have the opportunity to convert this to a Quality Improvement activity. To do this simply log onto the RACGP website and complete the Quality Improvement reflection form under ‘My CPD’.
