Dr Vlado Perkovic MBBS FRACP PhD
Dr Perkovic heads the Clinical Research Program within the Renal Division of The George Institute for International Health. He is a part time staff specialist in Nephrology at the Royal North Shore Hospital, and a Senior Lecturer at the University of Sydney. His major research interest is understanding both the cardiovascular risk associated with CKD, and the impact of interventions that might mitigate this risk. He is involved in large scale clinical trials and meta-analyses in kidney disease. He convenes the CARI Cardiovascular Guidelines group, and is a member of the Scientific Committee of the Australasian Kidney Trials Network.
