The Sydney GPCE is Australia’s largest Conference and Exhibition designed specifically for General Practitioners by General Practitioners.

The GPCE, now in it’s 12th year, has proven to be a unique event that is recognised by General Practitioners as one of the major educational events on the GP calendar. Your time is precious and the continual feedback from your colleagues is that the GPCE saves time as you are able to see, be taught and update your knowledge from the numerous seminars / exhibitions under the one roof, in a weekend.

The Scientific Program, which is in response to GP’s needs, continues to excel each year, and allows doctors the opportunity to hear speakers who are experts in their field, including a number of International speakers. Delegates can choose their own itinerary consisting of interactive practical workshops for small groups, to large forum seminars and panel discussions.

The focus is on delivering a conference that not only refreshes skills but also offers programs that can assist GPs to qualify for additional MBS item payments. The GPCE is an accredited provider of RACGP QA&CPD points and ACRRM points.

The exhibition floor plays an integral role in exposing delegates to the latest in pharmaceutical information and a diverse range of products, equipment and services that are not normally seen with the time constraints of the everyday practice.

The GPCE thanks the continued support of the delegates and exhibitors. We also wish to thank Professor Mark Harris, Professor of General Practice of the Schools of Community Medicine & Medical Education at the University of New South Wales, and his staff who once again have assisted in developing the 2008GPCE Scientific Program.
