How do I get my QA & CPD points?
The GPCE program is made up of 5 sessions per day with a mixture of seminars and workshops. You are entitled to attend 2 seminars and 2 workshops per day (5 session on Sunday). In general you get 2 points per seminar or workshop. After each day just fill out the evaluation form and put it in the marked boxes at the entrance. Make sure that all details and especially the CODE for the particular session you attend is filled out correctly. Failure to do so may mean that you will not be allocated CPD points.
As you leave the GPCE on your final day of attendance, please ensure you leave your Certificate of Attendance in the appropriate box in the foyer. This must include your signature and an X alongside any sessions you did not attend. Please make sure that your QA number is correct as points can not be awarded without this.
Your Certificate of Attendance will be forwarded to the RACGP QA & CPD department for allocation of points and you will be sent a copy of it approximately one month after the conference.

What can I do to gain extra points?

GPCE is running ALM (Active Learning Module) programs at the Sydney GPCE. There are 7 streams you can choose from and you will be awarded 30 Category 1 points on completion of the program.

To participate, you will need to attend 6 specified sessions as well as completing some pre-conference reading and a post-conference evaluation.

Please see the 'For Delegates' tab for a list of the streams you can choose from.
