Facilitating at GPCE Melbourne

The final countdown is on to GPCE Melbourne and due to overwhelming demand in registrations, we need your help!

We're looking for Med students and GP registrars, to volunteer as room facilitators. In return for your time, you'll get to attend the conference and reap the benefits for free!

What is a Facilitator?
A facilitator essentially is a 'host' for a specific education session or workshop session, with the primary role of aiding speakers with the smooth running of the session.

Who can be a Facilitator?
•  Medical Students & GP registrars

As a GPCE room facilitator, responsibilities include:

  • Committing to facilitating for 1, 2 or 3 days depending on your availability
  • Meeting and greeting speakers
  • Introducing the speakers to the delegates at the start of their sessions.
  • Sitting in on the sessions you've been assigned to, to ensure they run smoothly.
  • Helping facilitate 'question time' if required and roving microphones 

What you get in return:

  • COMPLIMENTARY registration for the days you are facilitating, with flexibility to attend extra sessions free of charge (worth up to $1034!)
  • CPD points (if required) for the sessions you attend and faciliate
  • Refreshments and lunch daily including morning and afternoon tea
