What are Seminars?
Seminars are 1 hour lectures with up to 150 delegates per session.
Some seminars will include audience response keypads allowing the session to be interactive and provide instant feedback.
Delegates will receive 2 RACGP Category 2 points per seminar that they attend. To view the Seminar Synopses Click here

What are Workshops?
Workshops are hands-on interactive sesions with only 25 delegates in each workshop.
Each workshop is repeated over the three day program providing many opportunities for delegates to attend their preferred sessions.
Delegates will receive 2 RACGP Category 2 points for each workshop they attend.
The GPCE is the only place where delegates can attend a wide and diverse range of hands on workshops in the one place. To view th Workshop Synopses click here

Active Learning Modules (ALMs)
Acitve Learning Modules (ALMs) provide an opportunity for a GP to be awarded 40 Category 1 points for activities focusing on their personal educational needs. ALMs provide quality structured education directed to acheiving demonstratable changes in the performance, knowledge, skills, behaviour and attitudes of GPs. Each module consists of a pre disposing activity, a structured learning activity and a reinforcing activity.

To complete an ALM at the GPCE, delegates can choose from 10 ALM streams that have specifically been designed for General Practice.
Delegates must complete Predisposing material which will be sent out 3 weeks prior to the conference to every delegate registered for the ALM.
Delegates must then attend 2 seminars and 4 workshops from the sessions offered in the ALM stream they would like to complete and then complete the reinforcing activity at the conclusion of the conference.
