Accreditation
The Scientific Program has been submitted to the RACGP, RNZCGP and ACRRM for accreditation for Continuing Professional Development points, AVE & MOPS credits and PDP points. The program will once again consist of specialist topics including Women's Health, Mental Health, Surgical Procedures and Radiology as well as incorporating the changes to the new RACGP Triennium Guidelines.
A total of 58 Category 1 and Category 2 CPD points are available at this years Melbourne GPCE. Where else can you get so many points in 3 days?
GPCE will handle the accreditation process on your behalf. When you attend the conference, you will be given a record of the sessions that you attend. Simply hand this in at the end of the conference, and GPCE will credit you with your points and forward your allocation to the relevant college. (Please note, New Zealand delegates will need to forward their certificate to the RNZCGP in order to be credited with AVE & MOPS credits.)
2 CPD (Category 2 points) All sessions have been submitted to the RACGP for 2 CPD points per hour.

Acitve Learning Modules - (40 Category 1 points) To be eligible for 40 category 1 points you must complete the following processes of the Module. 1. Read the Pre reading material (provided to you once you have registered for the ALM) 2. Attend the 6 sessions nominated as part of that ALM 3. Complete the ALM evaluation form ***If you have not completed any of these three steps you will receive 2 category 2 points for every session you have attended

ACRRM PDP Accreditation Members of the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (ACRRM) applying for PDP points will receive 1 PDP point per seminar and 5 PDP points per workshop

RNZCGP Accreditation The GPCE has been endorsed by the RNZCGP and has been approved for up to 20 education hours (= 40 credits for Advanced Vocational Education (AVE) and Mainenance of Professional Standards Program (MOPS) puroses.)

| Practice Nurse |
The PNCE has been endorsed by both the Royal College of Nursing Australia and the Australian Practice Nurse Association. 1 CNE (Continuing Nurse Education) point will be allocated for every hour your attend, to a maximum of 12 CNE points. You will be sent a certificate of attendance after PNCE, which can be forwarded to the relevant accreditation bodies to receive your points.
