Finding your way to the General Practitioner Conference & Exhibition

Venue
Located on the banks of the Yarra River, the Melbourne Exhibition Centre is within 30 minutes of Melbourne Airport and within walking distance of the CBD.

Parking
Carparking for delegates will be available underneath the MEC. Costs are $8 per day if entry is before 10am.

Trams
There are two tram stops outside the Melbourne Convention Centre and one stop at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre.
No. 12, 96, 109 travel along Clarendon Street from South Melbourne, Port Melbourne and St Kilda and service the CBD via Collins and Bourke Streets.
No. 70 runs along Flinders Street stopping on the north side of the Melbourne Convention Centre.
Trams run every 6-8 minutes during peak times, 7.00am - 9.00am and 4.00pm - 6.00pm and every 10-12 minutes between 9.00am and 4.00pm.
The City Circle Tram service also provides a free and convenient way to get around central Melbourne. Tourists, shoppers, office workers and families can use the City Circle Tram to travel to major attractions, shops and city events.

Trains
The Spencer Street Station is just a short stroll from the Melbourne Exhibition and Convention Centre. The Dandenong, Frankston, Belgrave, Lilydale and Sandringham lines run every 15 minutes and St Albans, Williamstown, Werribee, Upfield, Epping and Eltham run every 20 minutes.

Taxi
Taxi ranks are located at both the Melbourne Exhibition Centre and the Melbourne Convention Centre as well as all major hotels, Crown Entertainment Complex and Spencer and Flinders Street Stations.
