Professor Marita McCabe  PhD FAPS

Professor McCabe is Professor of Psychology at Deakin University, Melbourne.  She is on the editorial boards of Journal of Sex Research, International Journal of Psychology, Associate Editor for Body Image and is the Australian Editor of Sexual and Relationship Therapy. She has over 200 publications in referred journals, and has published widely in the area of sexuality. She has completed research on sex and disability, sexual harassment, rape, treatment of sex offenders, adolescent sexuality, and sexual dysfunction. She has received grants from a wide range of granting bodies, including NH&MRC, Australian Research Council and Multiple Sclerosis (Australia). Professor McCabe’s work in the last 15 years has involved research with medical practitioners to develop the most effective treatment programs for a range of sexual dysfunctions, particularly ED.
