Ms Lauren BakerAfter graduating from the University of Melbourne (Bachelor of Physiotherapy with Honours), Lauren spent the first couple of years at the Austin Hospital consolidating her skills and working in a wide variety of in- and out-patient areas. Since then she has been in private practice, treating clients with musculoskeletal problems as well as instructing group exercise classes in the field of spinal pain rehabilitation and pre- and post-natal fitness. Since graduating, Lauren has undertaken professional development courses in spinal physiotherapy and group exercise instruction and has presented research at the International Physiotherapy Congress in 2004. She plans to commence postgraduate study in the next few years to specialise either in musculoskeletal or women’s health physiotherapy. Sessions 6,7 |
