Dr Peter Tunbridge
An Adelaide University graduate, Peter completed his science degree before medicine, majoring in the immunological and histological processes of ageing. He is currently Senior Lecturer in Clinical Medicine in the Department of Medicine, University of Adelaide. He was in private practice as a country GP for 21 years and over the last 3 years has moved to the city in North Adelaide where he only practises anti-ageing medicine. Current research projects are: the role of aromatase inhibitors in men re fatty liver and insulin resistance; the role of oestradiol in the development of depression and PTSD in post- Vietnam war veterans; and MTHFR gene mutations. He is the author of the book "Why are we all slowly dying?"
