Dr Harvinder Bedi MB BS FRACS (Foot and Ankle Surgery) MPH
Following completion of his Fellowship, Dr Bedi commenced work as an orthopaedic surgeon in 2003 at The Northern and Box Hill Hospitals. Between 2004 and 2005, he undertook a Fellowship in foot and ankle surgery at the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre in Oxford, UK, which included particular training in arthroscopy and forefoot surgery such as the correction of bunions, as well as reconstructive surgery for arthritis and post-trauma. After returning to Australia in 2005, he recommenced his public hospital positions and also joined the orthopaedic unit at the Alfred Hospital. In the same year, he completed a Master of Public Health with a particular interest in injury prevention. He joined The Park Clinic group of orthopaedic surgeons, and consults privately in East Melbourne. He has continued working as a general orthopaedic and trauma surgeon in the public system, although his main interest in the private sector is in lower limb work, particularly involving the foot and ankle.
