2. Medico-Legal Update

CPD means keeping up to date not only with advances in medicine, but also with changes in the medico-legal environment within which you practice. This session will:
• inform you of recent changes to state and federal law which affect you as a practitioner including
• national registration
• changes to Medicare audit powers
• mandatory requirements to report fellow practitioners
• provide information about the current medico-legal environment, including the latest information on claims and incident rates reported for General Practitioners and who is being sued and for what.
