Aberrant Drug-related behaviours in Adolescents

Young people do not often seek help from drug treatment services, however they come into contact with GPs for other issues. This session will look at screening for drug and alcohol abuse in young people, as well as opportunistic and brief interventions. Aberrant drug-use behaviour will be discussed, with a focus on those that are predictive of addiction development.
