What are Australians drinking? The role of non-alcoholic beverages in your patient’s diet
Beverages form a key part of the diet providing hydration, energy and at times nutrients and nourishment. Often beverages are overlooked as part of a patient’s overall diet and there should be a greater focus on what people drink. Understanding what patients are drinking can provide essential insight when trying to improve their health and wellbeing. Recent data on the drinking habits of Australians will be presented, presentation to include low kJ drinks and their safety. Providing practical tips on how to apply the findings in your practice.
