Pressing Matters: Supporting Your Patients Through their Cancer Treatment

For most patients, a cancer diagnosis sets in motion a complex series of events, where treatment takes centre stage and other matters are put on hold for its duration. However, sometimes "after treatment" may be too late.
This seminar will discuss two topics of great relevance during cancer treatment: the risk of hepatitis B reactivation in immunosuppressed patients and its management and addressing fertility issues in patients receiving cancer treatment. The session will ensure that General Practitioners have the necessary information to remain the central support and information source for their patients, allowing them to make informed decisions during this critical time.
