Travel Medicine update - What GPs should know in 2010 

This session will address the epidemiology of travel health risks, offering practical advice on what resources health professionals can engage to ensure their patients stay healthy when overseas. Critical facets of the travel health spectrum include: tips on how to provide quality travel medicine services in General Practice; the pre-travel consultation; the three R's of immunisation before travel, malaria, hepatitis and other infectious travel-borne diseases; as well as other travel problems; and the unwell returned traveller.
