ALM O - Dermatology

This ALM covers common dermatological issues that arise in general practice. These range from the diagnosis of common skin problems and lesions, the use of dermoscopy and the appropriate treatment modalities for the management of problems. This module also includes hands-on interactive laser light therapies for the treatment of common skin disorders.

This ALM constitutes 6 hours of education – 5 of which are interactive either with case presentations, role plays, discussions or practical skills. Each activity makes provision for a Q&A session which the facilitator helps coordinate. Delegates must include 4 of the interactive activities, that is, two thirds of the ALM, to qualify for this ALM.
