Dealing with Depression is a highly interactive program that aims to provide general practitioners with a practical framework for diagnosing and managing depression. The program uses case based learning to explore the key challenges for GPs caring for patients with depression and to devise effective strategies to address these.
Accreditation:
- 40 RACGP QI&CPD points in total for participants who complete predisposing activity and reinforcing activity requirements.
- ACRRM 30 PRPD points
- Approved by the General Practice Mental Health Standards Collaboration (GPMHSC) for Mental Health Skills Training (MHST), formerly Level 1 initial
To qualify for this ALM, you must attend all 4 parts (each part runs for 1½ hours). This program provides Cat 1 40 QI&CPD points and Mental Health Skills Training (MHST) (formerly Level 1 Accreditation). Please note that this ALM can only be completed in 1 day.
