The topics covered in this module represent a diverse range of therapeutic topics relating to Chronic Disease management. Research, including survey results from GPCE 2011 and the needs assessment have highlighted those areas that GPs are presented with frequently in their general practice. This ALM constitutes 6 hours of education– 4 of which are interactive either with case presentations, role plays, discussions or practical skills. Each activity makes provision for a Q&A session which the facilitator helps coordinate. Delegates must include 4 of the interactive workshop activities, to comprise two thirds of the ALM, to qualify for this ALM.
