The 2 step modified pattern analysis is briefly reviewed incorporating Menzies technique for the diagnosis of Melanoma. Strong emphasis on instrumentation of dermatoscopes will be examined such as polarized, non-polarized and video dermoscopy. An in-depth description of MoleMax as the video dermatoscope of choice and a 3 month digital monitoring and total body photography will be discussed.
This advanced course requires prior knowledge of dermoscopy, otherwise, the hands-on experience will not be relevant.
