WD: Management of Medical Emergencies in the General Practice

During this practical session participants will have the opportunity to apply the treatment algorithms that were explained in the Theory Seminar session (S3A) and have been developed to manage the emergency. Participants will be broken into groups where our paramedics will step them through the equipment and protocols giving consolidation of skills and techniques required to manage a serious medical emergency to the highest possible level. Practical scenarios will bring the logistics and processes of managing a serious medical emergency to life.

Delegates attending this ALM will complete the required CPR module required as part of the 2011 - 2013 RACGP QI&CPD program. Please note that this is the practical component of ALM A. To do so you must attend either Group A, B, C or D.
