Dr Andrew Chang is the principal Vitreoretinal surgeon at Sydney Retina Clinic & Day Surgery. He graduated from University of Sydney Medical School with honours in 1987 and was awarded Doctor of Philosophy by the University of Sydney in 2004 for his research into ocular angiography.
He is currently a clinical lecturer in the Department of Ophthalmology, University of Sydney and is a Visiting vitreoretinal Surgeon at the Sydney Eye Hospital.
Dr Chang is actively involved in the teaching of ophthalmology trainees and fellows, nursing and ophthalmic paramedical staff.
Dr Chang practices exclusively in the management of medical and surgical retinal diseases and treats macular diseases such as macular degeneration, retina tear and detachment, diabetic retinopathy and retinal vascular occlusions.
