This session will focus on the appropriate immunisation needs for travellers to areas endemic for common vaccine-preventable diseases. In this session a Travel Medicine expert will discuss the burden of these diseases in travellers, including those visiting friends and relatives overseas. Modern approaches in pre–exposure prevention with an emphasis on currently available vaccines will be presented.
