The GPCE Scientific Program offers unmatched diversity in clinical medical education with seminars and hands-on interactive workshops covering an unparalleled range of topics under one roof. The GPCE is unique in that it allows GPs to obtain their compulsory Category 1 & 2 QI&CPD points as required by the RACGP QI&CPD program in a manner that is timely and convenient. Delegates are required to register to attend their preferred sessions in the Scientific Program.
The program consists of up to 30 seminars and 50 - 60 different workshop topics which may also be included in an Active Learning Module (ALM).
Seminars
These didactic presentations, seating up to 100 delegates are an excellent way to deliver clinical updates, evidenced based research and the latest in medical developments to a targeted audience.
Workshops
Workshop presentations are interactive sessions as required by the RACGP QI&CPD program. These sessions run for one hour and each topic is repeated once each day of the conference to allow delegates the flexibility of their programs. Interactivity may include hands on practical sessions, case discussions or role plays. Up to 25 delegates may register for each session.
Sponsorship Opportunities
Companies lend their support by way of educational grants or sponsorship for presentation of seminars and workshops. The GPCE offers the most cost effective way of getting in front of your target audience. Reed Medical Education obtains full accreditation of all sessions for RACGP QI&CPD points.
Involvement in the Scientific Program provides a perfect platform not only for educating the GP delegates, but can also drive delegates to your exhibition area at the GPCE events. This ensures better brand awareness, reinforces your message and increases your client base.
Scientific Program Sponsorship Opportunities include:
- Active Learning Modules (entire stream of education = 2x Seminar + 4x workshop topics)
- Seminars
- Workshops
- Customised Education (tailored to meet your needs)
Timelines
The Scientific Program starts development around 12 months prior to the conference and closes approximately 6 months prior to the commencement of the conference.
