Aspen Australia commenced operations in May 2001. After the acquisition of the Sigma pharmaceutical business in February 2011, current annualised sales are over $700 million in Australia and New Zealand. We have 5 teams of sales representatives, who are all experienced, covering doctors, specialists, hospitals, and pharmacists. We are one of the largest pharmaceutical companies in Australia, and have one of the most comprehensive portfolios of medicines in the country, covering most disease states. We have 3 sales divisions: Branded Prescription, Generics, and OTC/Consumer. In addition, we have a thriving Export and Contract Manufacturing business. Major OTC brands include Bio-Oil, Coloxyl, Gastro-Stop, Ural, Herron Analgesics, Dermeze and Phisohex.
Dermeze Ointment was originally developed by the Pharmacy Department of the Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne and to this day is used in the management of eczema and sensitive skin in patients of all ages.
Bio-Oil is a specialist skincare product developed to help improve the appearance of scars and stretch marks. Its non-greasy formulation contains the breakthrough ingredient PurCellin OilÔ ensuring the rapid absorption of key ingredients vitamin A and E, calendula, lavender and rosemary oils and chamomile extract.
