Medications historically are often confined to one disease group, biologics however span multiple medical conditions and specialties. This talk will cover the fundamentals biologics and the current applications, getting you up to speed in just 10 minutes.

New biologic medications have been transformative for some patients with conditions resistant to other treatments. Whilst anecdotes are not data, patient stories matter. In this interview session, we will hear from a patient whose life has been improved by the use of a biologic agent.

With indications increasing and more products coming to market, GPs will increasingly be managing patients who are being treated with biologics and need to be ready. GPs will need to juggle this will all the other conditions a patient presents with. This session will cover what matters in General Practice.

Get prepared and take a glimpse into a future which is closer than you think. Described as “the next frontier for treating many previously untreatable conditions” research into biologics will produce more agents for more conditions. This talk ccovers the agents that are just around the corner and what the future holds.
